Traditional illustration
David Welling's formative background
is in traditional illustration techniques, with expertice
in almost all mediums pen and ink, pencil, watercolor,
gouache, acrylic and oil. While most of his work has evolved
to the electronic medium of the computer, the disciplines
used in those early [painted works still apply.
