From conception to completion,
David Welling was responsible for many of the printed
periodicals that were produced in the Halliburton Publications
Department. His tasks on each project included conceptualization,
design, production, overseeing photo shoots, proofing
and press checks.

A magazine produced for Halliburton
Energy Services' external audiences. Ran from 1994 to
1996.

Halliburton Journal magazine
The successor to Halliburton
Pride, this magazine was produced for external audiences
worldwide. Print run was 130,000.

Compass newsletter
This Halliburton publication for
employees began as a two-color newsletter in 1993. It
evolved into a set of five separate full-color publicationsone
for each region of the world.

with it's own specific identity and translated into three

Fire Fighters Calendar
All proceeds from the sale of
these calendars go to the Houston Fire Fighters Burned
and Crippled Childrens Fund. David Welling has
handled the design for the calendars for four consecutive
years, beginning with the 2003 edition. The calendar
shown here features the photography of Evin Thayer.
