Digital illustration
Instead of the brush, there is the mouse. Photoshop has replaced paint and charcoal. While the methods are different, the principles remain the same. The purpose of an illustration is to help enhance the story it accompanies. The following pieces were created for the Halliburton Pride and Halliburton Journal magazines. The original material for these works were derived from a variety of sources, including stock photography, textural patterns, scanned elements and commissioned photographers.
